MIXERS? :O (an admin, anybody who can work this site better than I can...please move this somewhere else haha ^^)

Hi R1CE Family!(:
So, as you know, we also hold temporary collabs. I've already mixed Hello by SHINee (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWWz7ltmdSc) and I'm currently in the middle of mixing NU ABO by f(x).

Since we're all pretty busy now (Ellen and I I know we have fully packed schedules...) we really need some help with mixing! R1CE admins can mix permanent group collabs (for the first few at least) but we really need help with temp. collabs! D:

Right now we have open: Hoot by SNSD and Beautiful by BEAST.
If you auditioned for any of these, it's up to you to withdraw or not ^^

I know Soon Yi (BigBangTopLover) volunteered already! THANKS SO MUCH!
But we have some requirements:

1) Try to make the collab sound as close to the real song as possible.
2) The timing has to be PRETTY EXACT. Lagging or rushing is pretty...echy. D: Ways to fix this are to -split tracks into parts so you can move them around if one part fits but the other doesn't -"Zooming In" and moving the tracks that way so you may only be a millisecond off -deleting parts that don't fit entirely
3) For the chorus, you can remove parts that ruin the harmony of the chorus, such as somebody holding out the note too long and sticking out.
4) AMPLIFY the parts if they are too soft/loud
5) MAKE SURE THE EFFECTS MATCH WITH THE SONGS' EFFECTS!
6) Harmonies/BG sounds should be significantly softer but in the background as well.

AND VERY VERY IMPORTANT:
7) IF THE PART YOU'RE WORKING ON IS UNSATISFACTORY, EITHER TELL THE PERSON (if it's unfixable) OR DO YOUR BEST AND MODIFY IT AS BEST AS POSSIBLE (autotune is last resort...)

It's actually a lot easier than recording a cover by yourself. Kind of O_O
Well, I'm a perfectionist so I make it seem awfully harder than it's supposed to be ahha.

Really? Easier? Well maybe cuz other people give you parts than you having to record all the parts right? I'm a perfectionist too!! D: I always have to use rulers to make my lines straight cuz if it isn't straight i erase and erase and erase. LOL XD

Not really.
On Sunday, I spent 5 hours trying to record If lol. It usually takes me 2 weeks to successfully record a cover, but in the end I'm not satisfied anyways lol.
