Vocalist : purplecookiedough

Hello everybody

This is purplecookiedough a.k.a. A.Shin, and I've been chosen as the vocalist of White Fire :]
I'm thirteen years old, and I'm a freshman in high school.
I'm turning fourteen in about two weeks [january fourteen]
I've been singing ever since I could talk, and I've been in school choirs since fourth grade.
I know that school choirs aren't exactly what you would call professional training, but it actually did help a lot.
I don't get nervous on stage, I know how to sing louder or quieter as necessary, and much more, all because of school choirs.
I've been listening to kpop ever since i knew what it was, because I am korean, and am surrounded by koreans.
I live in a neighborhood where you can't walk down the street without seeing a korean, so it would be hard not to know kpop. x]
I have phases of what I'm interested in, and I'm currently into 2NE1 type of fierce songs.
Well, that's it for now, and I hope I get to know everybody better ~

Ooh, you skipped a grade? I actually started Kindergarten a year early because my parents wanted me to be advanced, but then they must have decided that I should be with my peers, so I just took Kindergarten twice... :/
You're Korean? Cool. Haha it's cool how diverse we are, even though we're all singing kpop. There are only a few koreans. But it's pretty cool, since you are keeping in-touch with your language?

It's cool to see that we're in a group together and not as a manager but as a fellow singer I was hoping that I could ask you a question that I've always been curious about As a Korean, what's it like to hear all of these non-Korean people (including myself) trying to sing Kpop? Does it sometimes sound like we're speaking chinese or some other language you don't understand? Lol! ;p

haha yeah it's nice to be a member with you (:
truthfully, it sounds kind of weird to hear other people speaking korean.. even if your voice is good, accents make songs sound funny x] but i got used to it now that i do lots of collabs.. also, sometimes people don't put stress into the right part when they sing, which makes it sound weird XD.. like.. they don't know word for word translations, so they go like "perSON" instead of "PERson".. does that make sense? LOOL. XD
